Wow, what a shock, she scored 294 in 2007 PSLE

Saturday, November 24, 2007
Ok, this news is indeed nice, and shocking. JUST 6 marks away! And i thought PSLE is tough. Seems like there's more than one smart brain in S'pore. I only got 216 here in 2006 last yr. Well, at least i got into a good school. But, what can 294 do to me if its not me who scores the mark? Might as well delete this blog. Hehe... Boys may take this devastating blow seriously, for this yr, boys had fell behind as PSLE scorers. It might be Eurasian, Indian, Malay, but girls topped the boys in the examination.
Big blow? Some may asked. No, not such a big deal anyway, for we had gone to schools we wanted.
A really big embarrassment! Some may say. Girls should be not so smart! We are BOYS! How come we've fallen behind?
What i really wanted to say is boys might be boys, and there are things girls and only girls can do. But then it will do boys no good if they continue to slack off. I am sure they don't want to be behind all the time. Girls, mature fast. Yes, i agree with that point, but i refused to think that it can also be because girls HAVE extra help during the exam. No, it couldn't be. Then again, who knows? Who can tell that the girl did do well? One thing: PSLE examiners can CHECK. They are not colour-blind, biased or cheating. Otherwise how do SEAB trust them?
I will leave you to that!

Innocence

Innocence stolen without my permission
Innocence gone without my submission

Innocence lost through another’s plan
Innocence no longer for another man

Innocence turned to hatred and fear
Innocence gone, no man can come near

Innocence taken from a little girl’s heart
Innocence replaced by mistrust, you thought you were smart

Innocence disappears like dew in the sun
Innocence faded before it’s begun

Innocence obscured like a cloud over the moon
Innocence ripped away too soon
